Smart rate management

Provider Throttling is the operational face of Pitbull Secure Gateway outbound rate limit and daily limit policies. Each email provider has different acceptance limits and behavior rules; Pitbull accounts for these differences in the policy engine.

SMTP Abuse Radar integration

Abnormal send rates are observed by Abuse Radar (observe-only by default). Automatic intervention with explicit policy or manual sender blacklist from NOC is available.

DSN & backscatter control

DSN / backscatter suppression and BATV / Backscatter Guard reduce unnecessary return traffic; outbound queue load and reputation risk drop.
